RAWHIDE SPOOKS VALLEY RESIDENCES WITH ITS ANNUAL "DOOMTOWN" HALLOWEEN ATTRACTION
CHANDLER, Ariz.-(September 21, 2007) - Rawhide at Wild Horse Pass celebrates the month of October with the return of its annual creep-tacular "Doomtown" event. Starting at 6:00 p.m., children and adults alike are invited to experience the spine-chilling haunted house and Halloween themed attractions throughout the town with special guest appearances from the "Ghost Riders," "The Undertaker," "Digger Payne," "Dr. Mortimer Morbius," and more!
In addition, this year, the renowned Superstition Springs Haunted House will be changing its location and will reside in the heart of Rawhide's Doomstown. Brought together by Cryptic Illusions, The Crypt haunted house is a 7,000 square foot walk-through featuring the Labyrinth of Shadows, the Forbidden Graveyard, Uncle Charlie's Swamp, the Forest of Lost Souls and the Executioners Arena and the face to face interaction with the Crypt Keeper! The Haunted House is offered at $12.00 per person.
Rawhides' Main Street will be decorated with glowing Jack-o-lanterns, and spider webbing and will feature horror and stunt shows, rides on the Train of Terror, ghost riders on horseback, illusionary and comedic theatric performances, and a Kreepy Kids Zone hosted by the Friendly Witch featuring Halloween story time, themed arts and crafts and candy treats.
Doomstown will be open October 5, 6, 11-14, 18-21, 24-31st. Admission and parking at Rawhide is FREE. Kids are also invited to dress up and Trick-or-Treat throughout Main Street on October 30th and 31st.
Rawhide is a wild west town known for its unique wild west shops, Steakhouse & Saloon, as well as its cowboy attractions including gunfights, stunt shows, a shootin' gallery, gold panning, stagecoach rides, desert train, pettin' ranch, burro rides, live country music, Sundown Cookouts, a real blacksmith, and much more.
