RED, WHITE, AND BOOM FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION AT RAWHIDE PRESENTED BY THE AWHATUKEE FOOTHILLS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
First July 4 celebration for Rawhide at Wild Horse Pass.
Chandler, Arizona. (June 5, 2006) - Red, White, and Boom! Rawhide will light the sky above Wild Horse Pass on July 4th with new event partner, the Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce. This patriotic celebration featuring a dazzling aerial display, exciting ground show, a Stars & Stripes Sundown Cookout, and all the Rawhide attractions will be fun for the entire family.
The celebration begins early as Rawhide opens on Tuesday, July 4th at 4 p.m. and admission is FREE. Guests can dine in the legendary Rawhide Steakhouse, sip a cool drink in the Rawhide Saloon, enjoy Rawhide's Main Street action and attractions, shop in unique retail shops, and listen to the sounds of live music. Rawhide's stunning aerial fireworks display will illuminate the sky above Rawhide at 9:05 p.m.
Guests are encouraged to take a seat in the Rawhide Rodeo Arena to enjoy the Ahwatukee Chamber's explosive ground display. Gates for ground display open at 6:30pm and tickets are required. Entertainment leading up to the 8:45 p.m. display will include the music of a DJ, various contests, lots of prizes, and a pie eating contest sponsored by the Rawhide Steakhouse! This will be the best seat in the house for the exciting aerial show! Tickets for the Ground Display can be purchased on Rawhide's Main Street and prices are $5 for adults, $2 for ages 5-13, children under 5 are FREE.
Dine under the night sky at the Stars & Stripes Sundown Cookout. This three hour package features a delicious meal of mesquite-grilled T-bone steak or BBQ chicken and all the fixin's, plus live Country Western music, magic show, line dancing, the Rawhide Roughriders, a marshmallow roast and cowboy storytelling. Haywagons begin rolling at 6 p.m. from Main Street. Prices for the Sundown Cookout are $55 plus tax for adults and children 11 and under are $25 plus tax.
